Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
We cannot send ship some plants and some sizes to California due to restrictions placed by department of agriculture.

Holly was shipped and packed terrific, the plant was very healthy.
I was disappointed in how small the root structure was, compared to the size of the pot and the cost.
In a one gallon pot a person would expect about half to be roots, instead, fully spread the roots were almost an inch thick and covered about half a dollar bill.
I'm curious to know if this is normal or was just a fluke.

Couldn't be happier with this beautiful holly! Came very well packed with lots of tape to prevent from getting knocked around inside shipping box. Arrived in beautiful condition and was bigger than expected. Directions with special notes came as well. Much appreciated! Would not hesitate to buy again:heart:
