Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
We cannot send ship some plants and some sizes to California due to restrictions placed by the department of agriculture.

I pre-ordered this tree at the beginning of May. They said it will ship in June. I reached out to them 3 separate time via email and called 4 times and left a voicemail and no one ever responded to my email or called me back to answer my question.
Once I finally received the tree, it looks nothing like an Esk Sunset. There is no variegation on the top of the leaf and no burgundy coloration on the other side of the leaf. I did some research and found out that if it’s an Esk Sunset that is sprouted from a seedling, it does not inherit any characteristics of the parent tree and I’m pretty sure that’s what I got. I reached out two weeks ago and several times since asking for clarification and no one has answered my multiple emails. I am extremely upset with the lack of customer service that I am receiving and will not be ordering from them again.
